To qualify for the Early Bird Special, does my registration AND my payment have to be in by October 2?

The determination of what rate you receive depends upon when we receive your registration only, as some attendees will register by fax or online and then follow with payment. Payment for all registrants must be received by October 16.

Who takes care of travel arrangements?

Horizon will reserve your hotel room upon receipt of your registration, but each attendee is responsible for securing his/her own travel plans. You will receive detailed information to help with coordinating your travel at the same time that you receive your conference registration confirmation. The most current information concerning travel will also be posted online.

Will transportation be provided to and from the airport?

Yes. Scheduled transportation via shuttle bus will be provided. Times for the shuttle runs will be sent with your registration confirmation as well as being posted online. Two scheduled trips from Hartsfield-Jackson airport to the Marriott will be available at 4:00pm and 7:00pm on Monday, November 2. Two scheduled trips back to the airport will be available at 1:00pm and 2:00pm on Thursday, November 5.

What do I need to consider when scheduling my flights?

Once you've determined which shuttle time you would like to use, please plan your flights accordingly. Remember to allow time for airport security checks, baggage claim, walking the concourse, etc. And when planning your flight home, please allow at least an hour of travel time from the hotel to the airport.

What happens if I miss the airport shuttle?

Horizon shuttles will run only at the designated times. In the unfortunate event you should happen to miss the provided shuttle, you will be responsible for your own transportation. Taxis are available at the airport and hotel for a designated cost.

Where do I go when I arrive at the hotel?

At the hotel registration desk, you will be provided with a welcome package which will have all of your instructions about the conference. On Tuesday morning, you will check in to the conference at the Horizon Registration Desk. This will be your starting point for finding your way around the conference.

Do I need to bring anything with me to the event in the way of forms or IDs? Any items needed for the sessions?

All you will need aside from personal items is the valid ID you will need to show to register at the hotel. Materials needed for the conference will be provided to you.

Several classes being offered have been approved by SNA for continuing education. To receive credit, SNA members will need to provide their SNA ID number when attending an approved class.

Will dinner be provided in the evenings?

Dinner will be provided, along with entertainment, on Tuesday, November 3. Enjoy the dinner on your own Wednesday night.

Representatives and employees of Horizon will be leading the conference. These people are leaders in the food service management industry, and they look forward to sharing information about our products and providing ways to help manage your own system.
