Investing in the Future
Horizon currently employs over 180 employees. A portion of those employees man our state-of-the-art Call Center whereby Horizon’s customers receive the fast, courteous and efficient assistance that they need when they need it. This service is available 24/7 via 1-800 support utilizing Horizon’s cutting-edge and very reliable Cisco phone system.
Horizon also employs a large number of professionals in its Global Business Services Division. These well trained and certified employees provide services for training, setup, installation, implementation and consultation with customers on site. Engineers, trainers, data migration experts, implementation specialists and senior business process engineering experts travel throughout the country on a daily basis to help Horizon’s customers achieve their goals.
Horizon also has a fulltime Training Center that is a modern facility located within Horizon’s Atlanta headquarters. Here, they conduct classes for those customers who desire project manager and other training, as well as train and certify Horizon employees. Additionally, the professional training staff develops a multitude of innovative training resources, testing and certification mechanisms, and courseware completion tracking methodology for Horizon’s customers, as well as its employees.
When it comes to innovating, developing and testing technology, Horizon’s Research and Development Division is unparalleled for the industry. We take pride in owning 100% of our source code, created by our in-house team of over forty R&D employees who innovate, design, write code and test in its Q&A lab the world’s best food service management technology. Having invested a combined total of almost fifty million dollars in research and development, you can be assured that Horizon is committed to bringing you the very best to meet your food service technology needs.

HISTORY
Horizon Software International, LLC is a global leader in software, services and technologies for food service operations. It offers comprehensive food service solutions ranging from Point of Service to Back of the House management systems including inventory management, procurement, menu planning, nutrition analysis, warehouse distribution and more. Horizon’s product offering provides clients with fully-customizable and scalable software solutions capable of meeting the needs and budget of any food service operation.
Horizon has corporate strength, valuable experience and staying power. With over thirty years experience in developing technology (and specializing in food service technology since 1992), Horizon is well established and in good financial standing. Horizon’s corporate headquarters was recently re-located to a state-of-the-art, 44,000 square foot facility located on the northern side of Atlanta, from where we serve customers as well as from our offices in Texas, Florida, Colorado and California.
Horizon believes in making use of the best, most reliable and cost-effective technology available to suit the business needs of the markets we serve. Horizon’s reliable “rich client” Windows-based products currently serve thousands of customers, and our web-based product development makes the technology even more cost-effective and easier to use for a greater number of food service operations. In addition, we are constantly refining our software and hardware products to provide new features to our customers.
