Jim Hoefflin

I am passionate about using technology to
provide solutions and service that create value for our customers.

Jim brings more than 25 years of experience in software and consulting
industries to Horizon. He recently served as President and COO of Kewill Inc, a provider of global multi-modal transportation and compliance solutions for
manufacturers and logistics providers.

Prior to Kewill, he was CEO of Empower Software Solutions, a workforce management and human capital management solution provider, he also held various operational, technology, and marketing leadership roles for RedPrarie Corporation, a supply chain execution company. Jim also serves as President of CBORD, Horizon’s sister company that powers technology solutions for higher education, healthcare, senior living and business campuses.  His leadership style is characterized by setting a strong example, focusing on accountability, and creating a culture of common purpose and passion.

John Whisner

I am passionate about understanding and solving our clients' challenges to help
them best serve their customers' needs.

John Whisner will be responsible for leading the Sales and Marketing operations for both CBORD and Horizon. Whisner’s energetic discipline
and wealth of experience in leading high-performing sales and marketing teams over the past 25 years within diverse markets will propel CBORD and Horizon toward a more coordinated customer focus, with blanketing account coverage, and the generation of new clientele.

As the former Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Empower Software Solutions, Whisner honed his skillset by focusing on enterprise level, multi-million dollar solutions and SaaS contracts. Prior to Empower, Whisner’s roles included Vice President of National Sales for Recall, and Senior Vice President of Sales for Ceridian. Whisner is a Veteran of the United States Army and graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte–Belk College of Business.

Larry Delaney

I strive to anticipate our customers’ needs and deliver solutions that help them achieve their strategic goals.

Larry specializes in the innovative application of software, data, and technology. After 25 years of experience in software and technology, Larry has successfully led teams covering all aspects of business with an emphasis on customer-facing disciplines including sales, marketing, and corporate development.

Rob DeCarlo

I strive to deliver data-driven analytical insights to grow the business and provide value to our customers.

Rob leads and manages the accounting, finance, and planning operations at Horizon. Rob has over 18 years of corporate finance experience working in technology and healthcare markets. He spent the last nine years at MedAssets as the SVP of Financial Planning and Analysis and was integral in the take-private sale to Pamplona Capital Partners in 2016. Prior to MedAssets, Rob spent almost 10 years split between EarthLink and Intel in various finance roles. Rob has an MBA from Duke University and a BBA in finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Amy Huff

My mission is to help build and nurture a loyal customer base, while
ensuring that our solutions solve modern market needs.

Amy is a goal-oriented leader with more than 20 years’ experience in the food service industry, school nutrition and software.  She is responsible for all operations of the Marketing department, including creative & product marketing, production, branding, promotions, conferences & tradeshows, as well as sales support functions.  Previously, she held management roles in customer service, product management, training, and project management.

Amy holds a School Nutrition Specialist credential from the School Nutrition Association and a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has served as chairperson of the Georgia School Nutrition Association Industry Advisory Board, co-chair of Public Relations for GSNA, and currently serves on the Resolutions & Bylaws Committee for the national School Nutrition Association.

Katherine Kay

I strive to build teams and cultures that lead to long-term success for the company, our employees, and our customers.

As Vice President of Human Resources, Katherine Kay will help us to transform the organization through her leadership by building human resources frameworks and strategies, by attracting and developing the best talent, and by building a culture of engagement, agility and innovation.

Katherine brings over a dozen years of corporate organizational design and human resources experience to our organization, with the most recent two years being at IPA, another Roper-owned company. Prior to IPA, Katherine held a variety of progressive positions, and was a key business partner in several acquisitions and integrations. Her ability to bridge teams and cultures will be an essential component to the company’s success moving forward. Katherine also serves as Vice President, Human Resources of CBORD, Horizon’s sister company, that powers technology solutions for higher education, healthcare, senior living and business campuses. Katherine holds a B.A. in Human Resources from Georgia State University, J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

Jodi Lee Denman

My goal is to meet and exceed our customers' expectations by consistently delivering the best service experience possible.

Jodi brings to Horizon over 20 years of experience in a wide variety of operations and administrative roles.  She is responsible for developing and maintaining the Service Operations' strategic and tactical plan for Helpdesk, IMPAC Services, Client Relations, Supply Chain Management, and Software QC Reporting.

Recently, Jodi worked for Cornell University as Director of Administration for two departments within Computing and Information Science.  She oversaw the fiscal operations which included planning, budgeting, compliance, system implementation and reporting.  She was responsible for directing the administrative organizations, each with undergraduate, professional masters and PhD programs. Prior to Cornell, Jodi acted as COO of Concept Systems, Inc., a software and consulting company. Jodi acquired her manufacturing background while working for Transact Technologies, a publicly traded company where she was part of the implementation team for Sarbanes-Oxley compliancy.

Jodi is a graduate of Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management. Jodi completed the Harold D. Craft Leadership training program while at Cornell University.

Nancy Sullivan

I am passionate about providing customers with a partnership of knowledge and service resulting in solidly grounded implementations. Our customers' complete confidence and satisfaction is my goal.

Nancy is responsible for the satisfaction, loyalty and retention of Horizon's growing customer base. She leads the professional services team with the goal of attaining best in class customer success and profitability by driving rapid implementation of solutions.

Prior to joining Horizon, Nancy was a customer support representative for Concept Systems of Philadelphia, PA, a supplier of computer systems for food production management. At CSI she provided training, telephone support, and documentation.

Between 1982 and 1983, she was an administrative and clinical dietitian at Lynn Hospital in Lynn, MA, serving simultaneously as a consulting dietitian for Grampian Nursing Home in Dorchester. Previously, she was a sales representative for American Hospital Supply, working out of Boston.

Nancy received a BS from Framingham State College in Framingham, MA, in 1977, in food and nutrition as well as economics. She completed her dietetic internship at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, NJ, in 1978.

Nancy was on the Board of Overseers of Harvard College in Cambridge, MA, serving as a member of the Visiting Committee for Dining Services from 1986 to 1992. She enjoys reading, cooking, mothering, and ice skating in her rare leisure hours.

Jason Hayes

I specialize in implementing processes that streamline
and improve accounting functions to better serve our customers.

Jason brings a wealth of accounting expertise, a breadth of financial systems knowledge, and years of institutional corporate reporting experience to the role. He is a dedicated and innovative accounting executive offering a distinguished career in building, strengthening, and leading corporate finance and accounting functions for worldwide business units of growing organizations.

Prior to joining Horizon, Jason served three years as International Controller for Radiant Systems Inc, a global provider of innovative technology to the hospitality and retail industries. His prior experience included positions at Teleflex Power Systems, Roper Industries, and a Regional Accounting Firm in Huntington, WV. Jason received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marshall University and is a CPA. When not working, Jason enjoys piloting small general aviation aircraft, as well as spending time with friends and family.
